Microneedling

Like its name – microneedling also known as C I T collagen induction therapy, this is a minimal invasive treatment that addresses concerns such as signs of premature ageing, acne scarring, stretch marks and even hair loss.
Using a fine needling device we create tiny wounds in the skin between 0.25 to 1.5 millimetres in depth.
It works by triggering your body’s wound healing process. During this process the healthy tissue surrounding the wound responds to repair the damage – thus triggering the production of collagen and elastin cells to help re build the skins dermal structure (hence the name derma pen is sometimes used not only as a brand name but as a description of the method of treatment). The rebuilding of the dermal layers in this way helps reduce the appearance of wrinkles and irregular texture such as stretch marks and acne scarring.
Benefits
Stages of microneedling post procedure
Stage 1: We see Inflammation
Because piercing the skin triggers your immune system (consisting of white blood cells) to disinfect the wounds, remove debris, increase blood flow and begin to create new tissue.
Stage 2: Proliferation
In this stage our skin tissue is reconstructed, white blood cells stimulate fibroblast cells and collagen and in addition a new network of blood vessels develop.
Stage 3: Remodeling
The wound is completely replaced with new skin (dermal) tissue and blood vessels. Giving a brighter glow with a more rejuvenated smoother appearance.
what is Nano-infusion?
Nano-infusion goes by various names such as Micro-channelling, Nano-needling or Nano exfoliation. It is a non-invasive procedure that involves the use of a pen style modality and nano-tips instead of needles. It uses very tiny cones formed of stainless steel that do not penetrate the skin, but do help with resurfacing and product infusion. This is an alternative treatment for clients who do not want any downtime or who may be contraindicated to micro-needling. It can also improve skin texture, boost hydration as well as address signs of premature skin aging. The most immediate, visible change in the skin is a hydrating glow.
